Plus my cat skinin days are over. Caught a big problem tom cat for a farmer and to teach my younger nephew the ethics I like to display, I decided to "put up" the cat. Well after a meticulous skinning job, well at the start of one rather, I ripped half if his tail off! I was pretty po'ed.
I was gonna have a hat maid but half of a tail ruined it.
Fleshing was no fun at all. The thing was almost as greasy as an old coon. Then to top it all off the puppies ran off with the hide while I was trying to rig a stretcher!
The best part of the whole thing was the carcass after skinning. Fur on the feet, and half of the tail. Looked like someone tried grooming a show cat and cut a little too deep!
