The dogs were my attempt at lion hounds. The black dog is a plott out of Greg Anderson old stuff. he is a good lion dog but loves coyotes and one of the best drag dogs i have ever seen.
The brindle dog is a dollins plott, he is about the same size as a Shetland pony. he just turned a year old and going strong.
I found out the other day the black dog has cancer. the vet cut a large mass out last week. we will see how long he hold up.

Matt, thanks for posting the info on your dogs, like to see
a person use their dogs for more than just one thing. I only
have one hound and he's a 6 year old plott male that came
from Greg Anderson, a son of Bloody Bill,tough dog, much tougher than his owner. Your Dollins bred dog comes from a
line of large dogs as Leo used alot of Pioneer Drum in his
original stock and they were all big houndy buggers.
Hope your dog recovers, keep up the the good dog work.
