I've always had more luck right after the storm.I think both would be ok in the summer because it cools off a little. But in the winter i've noticed they try to find a place and hole up before rain or snow,but come out afterwards and move pretty good.

Deer usually move heavy 24hrs or so before a storm or heavy rain and I suspect yotes are the same. Foxing has always been best right after the front passes. Mild rains or weather changes don't seem to hinder movements at all. Wind on the other hand has a huge affect on critter patterns.
