reloading premium shotgun slugs

I was wondering if anyone reloads premium shotgun slugs. I seached previous post and found some info on reloading slugs but they all seemed to be the old lead/pumpkin ball style. I shoot the remingtion copper sabots now and get amazing groups. It's almost like shooting a rifle at least out to 100 yards. I just dont want to pay 15-16 dollars for 5 rounds anymore. If I could reload my own I could say a ton of cash.I also have many friends that hunt shotgun only areas and think I would get my moneys worth.

Jonathan, what kind of barrel are you shooting those sabots in, and what is the range of the group that you posted?

Thanks in advance

range was 100 yards and i have shot them out of 6 dif rifled and 3-4 smooth bores and they shoot well out of both
..I am shooting the Savage 210F slug warrior and my friend is using the new Rem sure shot pined slug gun and both guns have now prob keeping this slug on a 11X22" steel target...off hand out to 250 yards!

this little guy was shot at 200yards!

Loading slugs is a tuff sell. I've been working on that for a long time. They all shoot OK but I have found in My 870 I can't match the price of Tru-balls slugs and the accuracy is about the same. In a rifled barrel I use a "Green" slug,350 gr Its Very fast ( 1650 fps) and very accurate but a bit pricey. In our state we can't hunt with Sabots this is a full .72" = 12 gauge
