Tony kindly took us out for a couple of hours last night with the light after our arrival in NM and some sighting in of the rifleslate afternoon.
Ideal conditions and I was able to capitalize on what Tony could attract in getting my first Coyote.
David [6mm06] downed one as well so a great start.
This morning we hit the road and had 2 present at the first 2 stands where I let the side down with a miss but David smacked a large male after a spot and stalk that showed us Tony's dedication, skills and commitment guiding us.
The wind has got up and warmer than ideal so a snooze this afternoon is the go. We are heading out again tonight with hope that the wind will drop off to again have us amongst them.
Having a blast in more ways than one. Lots of details to share in further posts.
