WV magazine limit ?

I was in a local shop yesterday and was talking to a couple fellows and told them I was about to order my first ar to coyote hunt with.Thats when the one guy said that I would have to buy a 5 round mag because thats as big as you can use in Wv.So I have been reading the Rules and regulations books over and over and I cant find any thing saying that.Does any one have any info??

I just read thru all of the prohibitions, furthur down on the coyote regs and found nothing about a 5 round restriction.

Maybe calling the DNR there and asking will get the end all word on if it's a law there or not.

Not totally sure but I do believe 5 rounds is the limit. I will do some research and get back with you.

I havent read anything about mag capacity limitations. Might call one of the regional offices but I dont think there is a restriction.

Yeah thats what I was thinking John,I usually run into our local dnr officer about once or twice a week at a gas station near where I work but havent seen him yet this week.

I've been all through the regs but can't find anything in regards to mag capicity. Something still tells me that 5 is the limit. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I talked to Capt Ransom today of the WVDNR.He says there is NOT a mag capacity limit on AR or Mini 14s.
