243 win powder

My best grouping ever was with 85 Sierra's, 44.5 grs. of 4831. However, just the other day I tried Varget for the first time with 70 Gr Noslers. It grouped so nice that I'm having a CDS dial worked up from Leupold for the Noslers.

Only way to find out is to load and shoot. In my T3 I'm running 45gr of Ramshot Hunter under the Sierra 85gr BTHP @3250 fps .15 jump and will do under an inch at 200. T3's love the 85 sierra.

I have had good luck with imr 4350 and 4831 with bullets over 85 grs, I have had great luck with Hy-brid 100 in bullets over 85 grs. In lighter weight bullets I have a few loads with imr 4320, and a few with rl 15, and varget. The4320 has had some real good groups, velocity is middle of the road. Been tempted to try RL 17 but haven't as of yet.

With the 70's, you guys may want to try H4350, 47g with a win primer is a solid 3600 fps and bullets cut the same hole.

R#19 with a Win primer is becoming a favorite with the 85 along with a max load of IMR 4064 with a Fed 210 with the 80's.

Varget works well for me, it is almost the same identical burn rate as IMR 4064 without the sensitivity.
