Ya, I missed my old Belgium made I sold as a kid & finally replaced it with a new 22 short only version this week. They are fine rifles. Between that and my Tony Kidd Supergrade I think I am covered in the 22 semi-auto dept.

Well, since this thread has been resurrected [sp], I'll add my opinion.
I've shot 10/22's; bolt gun .22s from Ruger, Savage, Winchester & Marlin; semi-autos from Remington, Winchester, Savage, & Marlin; and the rifle I started out with, an old antique pump-action Remington Fieldmaster (don't remember the model#).
And after all that, if given a choice, I'll grab the Marlin Model 60 every time.
It's just a work horse, & is accurate, & never complains regardless of what ammo you put thru it.
