best calls for bear

hey guys i am doing some spring bear hunting and was wondering what calls work best on bruins. i have a JS 612 as well any suggestions for tapes? i've seen so called bear calls but are they any better than a good predator call for coyotes or other predators that i generally use? any suggestions would be helpful guys.
 
I called one in last week with the JS PM and the fawn bleating call while trying to call coyotes and other small predators. The bear came in close.
 
It's been my expereince that the best call for bears is grease! Good 'ole fry grease! But if that is not an option, try to find some sheep during lambing season. If not that then the fawn bleat works pretty well too. Just blow it loud and continuously. They'll come but lose interst quickly.

The Bear that I called last year came in to a weems style raspy cottontail cry. I blew it with a great deal of highs and lows and made it scream in pain.
The sence of urgancy brought the bear in hard and fast. Good calling. >Dave
