30minutes into the Maine youth turkey day and my friends son was on his first turkey hunt, he got to shoot a 12ga for the first time and harvested his 1st turkey ever...And a nice one at that!
18.5lbs, 10.1" beard and 1" spurs.
Something spooked his hens off the field but rather than chase them he just couldn't stand to see that jake decoy so close to two of "his" hens. 21 yard shot with little 2 3/4" #6's through a factory full choke.
