I have a 6x45 AR15 with an 18" barrel and am looking for some deer loads for it. I am currently using H322 with 75gr Sierra HPs. I have read that this is a good combo for deer at 2700 - 2800 fps but wanted to see what other people are using or have had luck with.

Thanks,
jmak

There's a sticky at the top of this forum with quite a bit of 6X45 data.

My go to antelope/deer load is the sierra 85g SGK HP and Nosler 95G NBT hunting bullet, both in front of H335. Both will print 3" @ 400yds also.

I downloaded the info from the sticky some time ago but I am looking for deer specific loads that people have had success with and that fit in an AR15. On my list to try are the 75 gr Sierra, 80gr Barnes TTSX, and the 85gr Partition. Just looking for other suggestions. I thought I read somewhere that the 85 grain SGK HPBT is constructed on the heavy side for the 6x45 velocities but it sounds like some people here have had success with it. Any opinion on a 75 gr vmax?
