165gr. Sierra Game King on top of 45gr. Varget! will bring any elk down from 400 yards!!

here- the 308 is plenty. if you go to 24hour campfire and talk to scenarshooter he kills a ton of stuff. my first choice would be a 165 weight, partition, or 168 baltip or accubond. a 150 or a 180 weight would be second. i have found the 308 is easy to get a good load for enjoy

165 Accubond, 165 or 168 TSX or TTSX combined with Varget, RL15, 4350, or 4064 will get you where you need to be.
