Stainless steel barrels out in the field??

Here's another option, that paper camo tape they make for bow limbs. I "ironed" it onto my fluted barrel using the eraser end of a pencil.

Same with the mag and EOTech, none of that is painted.

I think a dull matte finish stainless steel barrel is better than a shiny glossy blued barrel. As long as it doesn't flash, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Check out e-bay for the 'army style' digital camo tape. It is self adhering and breathable. I don’t like the 'duct' tape option because of the residue left behind. And if it gets wet, then the tape is a chore to remove!

The last order from ebay was 8 rolls shipped for $15.
