Crimped Primers = NO Biggie!!!

Well I finally decided to load up some of the crimped 223 brass that I have. I'm about out of all the stuff without and have been throwing the crimped stuff in a bucket.

For some reason I thought this was gonna be a HUGE PITA.... I just used my deburring tool and cut em right out! After some experimentation, I found that 4 "twists" was the perfect amount (at 3 some primers wouldnt seat and 5 some were loose)...

Im really glad it turned out to be this easy because I have a ton of crimped brass and a the range its more plentiful than dirt!

Just thought id share my experience in case any new reloaders out there were curious.

Have a great one guys!

I started a thread on this on 4/27/11-anybody use a deburring tool to remove crimp-got some good responses. It works for me!

I bought the Dillon Super Swage, it works great. I had over 3,000 to do so wasn't gonna hand turn that many...
