I am thinking about mounting this up on my 700 Varmint. Would this be a good coyote/deer hunting scope? If not what should I use that covers both and whats the leupy worth in like new condition.

As long as you can get along with the FOV, go for it. If you'll be hunting any close cover, I'd say go with a lower power. Just guessing on the scope but 4.5-14x's seem to be pretty poplular so ...$450??

What would you suggest for a good decent deer/coyote scope with the occasional target shooting.
