I was just wondering who all the new Alaskan/Canadian members are, and if any of the old ones are still around. Fur season is right around the corner, be it calling or be it trapping. So don't be shy to pipe up guys!!!!

I am interested in looking into an Alaska hunt for moose, caribou, black bear.
Would you have any recommendations as to where to go, some outfitters perhaps?

At the amount of money those guided hunts cost. I would feel kind of reluctant to send you in the direction of any one guide service. I hate for you fork out the cash and not have a good hunt.

Last I checked for $5 you could get a list of all the guides and what the guide for from Alaskas Department of Fish and Game. This page might even answer some of your other questions. If need the web page email me at tcw@gci.net and I will be glad to send it to you.

I do know guides that hunt all three of those animals in one hunt. It averages about $1000 a day. Not to include airfare and tags.

You are correct. This few prices we got were very high. I love to hunt, but I could buy a house lot here for the price it would cost for three of us.
I will look into that list.
