Eotech 512 opinions?

Hello,

I just mounted an Eotech 512 on my AR and sighted it in for "dead on" at 100 yards. It was much easier than I thought and so far I am impressed.

I plan on using it on coyotes in the mornig on land that has never been called!!! I just got permission to hunt there. Does anyone have any pearls of wisdom to impart as I begin using this system? I do know that it is an "both eyes open" deal and I will try hard to learn to shoot that way. Any other gems would be appreciated.

I am a big fan of this sort of sight system. I use Aimpoints, but understand why many folks prefer EoTech. Either way they are excellent.

The only suggestion I'd give is to look at a 50 yard zero. In my opinion it is much more user friendly.

You might have already considered that, but I thought it was worth a suggestion.
