sceery ap-6 or ap-7?

everyone recommends the sceery ap-6 and ap-7 together, if I buy just one, which one is the best? some day i will buy both, but for right now i only want to buy 1.

I prefer the AP-7 for it's reliability and it's ability to do good coyote vocalizations as well distress sounds.

I have had two of the AP-6 bite calls. Old and newer. The AP-6 does great distress sounds but locks up every time I take it out. It has many fans also though. It is capable of low volume vocalizations I suppose.

If getting only one, the choice would clearly be the AP-7 for myself.

I suspect you will get an even number of fans for each.

I would add, cold weather doesn't effect AP-7. The longer you use one the better you get with it and the more sounds you can make, adding to its versitility. I have both but use the AP-7 10 to 1 over the AP-6. Both are good calls.

My choice, hands down the AP-7 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

i appreciate the replys, i guess it sounds like the ap-7 will be my sure choice between the two.

AP-6 is my faviorat distress call. i have open reed calls but don't have the ap-7 yet so i can't give a real good recomendation for it
