Neat coyote, what a trophy. Many yrs ago, an old farmer coyote houndsman friend of my Dad & I. Dumped his large kill dog alone on a 65 lb Black Iowa coyote. They fought hard for a long while. Old guy ended up shooting it. His kill dog just didn't have enough grit to get it done.
Interesting part is that kill dog killed many coyotes quickly by himself. kill dog stood 36" @ the shoulder, all business.

Nice,, the coyotes are getting bigger for sure, I saw one killed on the 401 at kingston ontario, 2 years ago,
