Bushnell elite 6500 4.5-30x50 a good scope??

Could be the 6.5x erector design that might have something to do with image quality or light emission. Should not be much though. I opted for 2.5-16x50 instead of 4.5-30x50. I have a 6-24x50 on my long range tactical rifle and for hunting purpose the 6x is a bit too much. 2.5x should come in handy and 16x is quite enough for me for a hunting rig.

Adam, although the 4200 & 6500 share the same "glass" in the objective & ocular, the lenses in the 'zoom group' are obviously different (4x zoom vs. 6.5x zoom). Therefore, the image seen through each will appear different, too...
