pros & cons on fluted barrels

I am thinking about have a custom fluted barrel done for my 25-06 weatherby vanguard. The barrel length 24inches. I am thinking about 2 different flutes. The first 1 is a wide cut diamond fluting and the other one is the spiral fluting. What are the pros and cons of having a barrel fluted like this?

I am FAR from an expert and I will be honest about that! So take with a grain of salt.

Pros:
Better cooling
looks cool
weight reduction

Cons:
$$$

Personal taste. Diamonds and spirals are non-traditional, some just don't like them at all.

Only had one gun that had flutes, it was a Kimber and it shot well.

They do look cool, but $$
