Millet red dot on shotgun

I have a Millett SP2 Red Dot sitting in the closet and I have a Mossberg Tactical Turkey 12 gauge that needs a sight.

Anyone know if the Millett will hold up to the 12 ga recoil?
 
I tried one on a Rem870 but didn't keep it there long enough to find out if would hold up. Fact of the matter is, my face was so far off the comb in order to look thru the red dot that I was the one who wasn't going to hold up. Recoil would give me a fine uppercut every time I pulled the trigger.

I believe the sight will hold up due to its simplicity. The type of stock on the tactical turkey looks like it would help keep your head down as well.
 
I have one on a Ruger Super Redhawk 7.5" 44mag. Shooting stiff 320gr. hardcast bullet at 1331fps. and it has held up. Should work fine.

I just didn't want to put it on there, have it break on the first shot, and then have people "well, everyone knows...."

These little shotguns kick!!! I tried 3.5" Dead Coyote from the sitting position and the recoil literally rolled me backward!
