need to know what to zero a 22-250 in at 50 yds. to be dead on at 200...only have 50-60 yds to play with right now until my neighbor gets home then I can shoot out to 300 yds... but wanting to take it hunting this evening.... Winchester 45 gr. white box jhp...Bushnell Legend scope approx. 1.5 in. from bore center..was thinking maybe 1 in. high at 50yd. would do it... thanks for any help..

My Sierra manual shows 45 grain at 3700 fps

50 yards = .39" low
100 yards = 0
150 yards = .44" low
200 yards = 1.83" low

The only way to know out of your rifle is to shoot it. A very small amount off at 50 yards will make it off a lot at 200 - 300 yards.

thanks guys...sighted it in 1.5 in. high at 50, should put it a inch low at 200, will shoot it to find out.. very seldom get shots over 150 yds. around here anyway.

I tested this specific round out of my Encore and can't get a reload to match it yet. LOL Hundreds of dollars in components and countless hours yet the Wally-world whitebox offering is still king. /sigh

As mentioned, 0.0" at 50 yds puts you on at 200 yds. With my Encore, I switch from muzzleloader to 22-250 barrel after deer season ends and use this exact range to verify zero after the barrel swap.

Good luck!
