Hey,
I am new to this sight and have a few questions?
First of all i am from Northwestern,PA
I started predator hunting last year. Using a Foxpro electronic call and Remington VTR 22-250 OR a 22mag. I was out about 9:00pm a few nights ago and on the 3rd call a red fox came in across a field and i plugged him. My question is : Is it common to hunt fox in the daytime rather than the night? Also can anyone recomend a good light setup for night hunting?

I am not an expert on fox by any means but i can tell you that the red fox i see tend to hang out just outside of neighborhoods and are active right after sunrise and right before sunset, and of course all night long. It is possible and even likely to call them in during these times. Good Luck!

Welcome aboard Foxrunner! Lots of good stuff in the Night Hunting section for you, grab a soda and your reading glasses...they are more then happy to fix you right up.
