WC844 Powder?

I'm thinking of buying some WC844 powder. Hi-tech says it is the same as H335. It is a surplus powder from disassembled cartridges. At $85 for 8 lbs., I'm wanting to try it in my 5.56 AR. Has anyone used this powder or know anything about it?

Do a search over on AR15.com. I think a guy bought a BUNCH of it. Don't know much more, other than seeing his post.

Just bought some from them not too long ago and have been using it with no problems.

Seems to be a hair slower than H335 but so far, so good.
 
Military pull down powder is bad about varying from lot to lot. One lot will be way slow, the next might be 2 grains less to get the same vel. This is a prime case of start low, and work your way up. All and all wc844 is a great powder for the 223. The military loaded millions of 5.56 shells with it.
