Decided to paint her because the black and chrome stuck out in the tree line.

Used krylon camo with krylon clear matte, about 7 coats of the clear. Hope it lasts a good while.

The only complaint I had with their stencils is they send a small amount of the small cut-outs.

7 days? huh? It looks good man, havent seen one like that. But dont you think all that clear on it will still make it shine when the sun hits it? I thought that what you were trying to get away from was the shine?

I used this matte clear stuff that is supposed to be dull. I had the rifle out today when I got home from work to see if it were shiny and its pretty dull. Not as dull as the paint itself but dull.

i've heard of guys dusting over it with a really light coat of grey to rid yourself of the shine

yeah it took a lot to paint a 1000 dollar rifle with spray cans. But the way I figured, I'm not selling it, im using it to hunt, so why not ? Grizz better not be blind with one of those coming at you.
