Saturday night was not a good night for the deer !

The wife shot a 7 point and I shot a doe.
I know I put Rage 3 blade on here arrows, but I think she has a chainsaw head of some type. This entrance is well.... WOW !

Yep freezer is lookin good.

I did give the doe to my grandpa. He puts his "order" in every year. I skin and bone it out and he cuts it up.
It's his farm where I hunt,got to keep him happy !

He is 88 this past fall. He still gun hunts a few days.

BTW...I couldn't get the buck to stop ! He chased 2 does with in 10ft of my stand and was gone.

Yep !
Saw 2 small 8's and a 4 one morning this past week fighting and chasing does.
 
I don't rattle much at all,but do like a soft grunt.

When rut is closer I will treat scapes with urine . I like coon urine for cover scent in the tree.
