10/10/10 Tom bobcat
Went to one of the only area where I have taken bobcats. I set up using a step ladder, because its to thick and I need the elevation to get up just enough to see out over the sagebush in the area. Here a shot from the ladder.
Started calling with Bird distress, Then moved on to Fox distress followed by kitten distress. 10 minutes each.
About 5 minutes into the kittens distress, I see a set EYES looking at me off to my left. About 25 yrds, right in the bushes above the clearing on the far left with the log.
It then moves its head and I see that its a big bobcat. I move real slow and bring my 12 gauge up for the shot. Say Cheese! boom Its DRT.
Nice spots
I was one happy hunter!
