I had never owned a .22 Mag. When I sent my Remington 597 .17 HMR in for the complimentary .22 Mag conversion, I felt short an ATV gun. So, I picked up a Marlin bolt .22 Mag with the tubular magazine.

In testing some ammo for accuracy, I got the following results. All 3 shot groups at 50 yards:
Remington Premium .33 grain

Hornady 30 grain

The Marlin lives on my Rubicon. I don't expect to test it on Coyotes as it will mostly feed on the smaller pesky critters that roam the ranch. When Tucker and I get serious about the coyotes a hungry center fire will be on board.
BTW: When sighted strait up at 50 yards the first hold over hash on the Burris Ballistic Plex is right on at 100 yards.
