Just got back from Brownlee on the Snake. The canyons and creeks that feed the Snake and some of its tributaries were very hard hit by floods. Many roads suffered. I didn't see many birds in the stream canyons and draws. Some birds on the Snake itself but not that many. The ones I saw were mostly adults. Looks like the first hatch took a big hit.

The chukar I've run into in E.OR. have been without young as well. Huns same thing. Quail not completely the same though, but that was just one covey of two adults and a whole mess of giant mosquitoes LOL!

This spring was a very wet one with alot of flooding. I have not seen many young for most birds, including turkey.
