EMMERSON APPEALED TO THE SUPREME COURT!!

emmerson has forced his case to the supreme court!!!!!! this guys..mean THE SUPREME COURT
WILL DECIDE THE 2ND AMENMENT ISSUE ONCE AND FOR ALL... CHECK OUT WWW.SAF.ORG FOR DETAILS..HERES
THE ANITI'S MUST BE FROTHING FROM THE MOUTH OVER

Hmmmmm, I'm not going to get too excited just yet. All I found was a headline that Emerson is appealing it. Means nothing yet.

He can appeal and has, and that's great news. The big but in all of this is the USSC itself.

But, they don't have to hear the case. They get to choose which cases they'll hear, so until I learn that they've actually decided to do so I'm not getting worked up. They hear, at most, 10% of cases submitted to them every year.

In short, he hasn't "forced" anything. He's simply filed the appeal and is once again waiting to hear a court's response.

Now, keep in mind I'm not an attorney. What part of that means the USSC has agreed to hear it? Is it the last line:
"Jan 22 2002 Petition GRANTED."

???

If that line does mean the USSC has agreed to hear it, then that is HUGE news.
 
My question is though, just because it is on the docket does that mean it will be heard or does it mean it will be considered to be heard?
