reloading for a 22-250 Varget or H380?

I am reloading for a 22-250 I am wondering which powder to go with. I heard H380 is temp sensitive or I am better off going with Varget? Any help would be appreciated.

I have used both, and had great accuracy with both in the 22-250. I prefer Varget when I have a rifle that shoots both powders well.

The 22-250 I had years ago shot H-380 best.
The one I have now won't shoot it at all, but prefers Benchmark and Varget equally.
The point here is, your rifle will tell you what it likes. So, the answer is try several known good powder to see what shoots in your rifle.

I generally use RE-15, Varget and IMR 4895. My best 5 shot group @ 100 yds (.348) with my Ruger M77 MKII 22-250 was using a load of a Sierra 52 gr HPBT and 34.9 Gr of RE-15. Varget has also produced some very tight groups, followed up by IMR 4895 in third place. I just found some IMR 8208XBR that I wanna try out. Have fun figuring out what works best for you.

Right now I'm going with 37 gr. of h380. I have varget, but I need to use 2 cans of h380 first. I agree with the other posters try both your rifle will tell you what it likes

I had two Rem 788 22-250's over the years. Both liked my H380 load.. But as noted above, youo need to determine what powder your rifle likes..

Varget did not shoot well in my 22/250 with 55's, about an inch.

H380 was great 38.0g to 39.2g, and I got the very best accuracy with the highest velocity out of Win 760.

Everyone has a different opinion of what is accurate...it's just a hobby for enjoyment.
