I just received a 450 from a member here and would like to reload it when I get some brass. I would like to know if any of you have a little info. on the dies . I have seen them for about 70.00 on the web. I have read something about using 45-70 dies and 45 acp dies for the taper crimp.I would appreciate the help on this,Thanks!

I'm using Hornady's and really like them. 450 Bushey is easy to load.

I use a 45-70 die shortened .250. I dunno if I can tell much from the full length die to the shortened one as far as neck tension. But thats why it was shortened, you can also use a 284 FL sizer die as well.
45acp dies for flaring seating and crimp and you are good to go. A good crimp is a must. Heavier crimps with a lee collet crimp die seem to produce excellent results, and yield better results than a taper crimp.
