I just had a gunsmith look at mine and he said that the barrel looked great. mine is a remmy with about 150 handloads shot. My handloads are on the hot side too, I shoot 30grn bergers at a little over 4000fps out of a 22 inch barrel.
Well I loaded up 100 brand new hornady brass and with only about 150 through the gun I havent had multable loadings through the same piece of brass yet. Out of the ones that I have fired no split necks yet.
