Rim Fire only no center fire county ordinance

Montgomer County is a rim fire only 17 cal reaches just drop them Using 17gr v max I there a beter round?

If we are talking coyotes, you should seriously consider using a 12gauge with 3inch #4 buckshot loads.
That.17hmr is just to light to guarantee quick kills.

I think he'd talking fox. Not too many yotes in Montgomery county. Few here and there.

The .17HMR will work but I would take headshots and get them 100yds or less. A hit anywhere else would give less then favorable results.
There is also a 20gr hollow point available for the .17HMR but out of my rifles they are not as accurate.

be better off with 22mag 40 gr HP if you must use rimfire.

That would be good out to about 100 yards.

As said above shotgun would be good.
