Hornady SPSX Bullets

Yes, all the Hornady SX and Sierra Blitz bullets are great in and intended for use in the 222 and 223 at "medium" (under 3500 FPS) velocities...don't use in the 22/250 as velocities are too high.

They are accurate and excellent killers in the 222/223 calibers; also are cheaper than both companies'respective "P-Tips" (plastic tip) versions.

There my go to bullet on colony varmints. Extremely accurate and very devastating on pasture poodles. I have shot some in the 1/8 and 1/9 twist barrels but not with good results, stay with the slower twist barrels.Thin jackets equal SX performance.

Shot them in my triple deuce with IMR4895. Shot 1/2 MOA at 3100fps. Not as explosive as 40g vmax or nbt's at 3500-3600fps, but yes they are cheaper, but dont look near as sexy...

Went back to vmax's for the sexy look and more pop!
