Yes, all the Hornady SX and Sierra Blitz bullets are great in and intended for use in the 222 and 223 at "medium" (under 3500 FPS) velocities...don't use in the 22/250 as velocities are too high.
They are accurate and excellent killers in the 222/223 calibers; also are cheaper than both companies'respective "P-Tips" (plastic tip) versions.
There my go to bullet on colony varmints. Extremely accurate and very devastating on pasture poodles. I have shot some in the 1/8 and 1/9 twist barrels but not with good results, stay with the slower twist barrels.Thin jackets equal SX performance.
Shot them in my triple deuce with IMR4895. Shot 1/2 MOA at 3100fps. Not as explosive as 40g vmax or nbt's at 3500-3600fps, but yes they are cheaper, but dont look near as sexy...
Went back to vmax's for the sexy look and more pop!
