Giant Alabama Coyote!!!

i killed this coyote in Thomaston, Alabama in November of 2009. i am 5'7" and he was nearly as long as i am tall. i know some of you have probably killed bigger but he was by FAR my biggest!!

Nice yote for Bama. Rifle or shotgun kill? Were you hunting in the woods or in the open? Congrats again on the huge coyote.
 
yotekiller, that is one big coyote! congratulations. he's a monster. the first coyote i called in and killed was a bigun like that. never weighed him, but i'm 5'9 and he was long like your picture and a good bit heavier than most that i kill. where bouts in alabama are you located? i live in dekalb county, and hunt from tennesse line down to Centreville. have you had a good season this year? been hunting yotes for very long?
 
i live in Hale county and mostly hunt hale and marengo county. i haven't had too good of a year so far but i sure hope it gets better. i have been trying to call coyotes for only about a year now. still a rookie.
