will a red dot scope fit on a benelli supernova

hello everyone!

i was wondering, will a bsa red dot scope or any red dot scope fit on a benelli supernova? its just the regular 28" field model? im not sure if it is drilled and tapped?

My Remington 870 Turkey gun, came with a red dot scope. I took it to the range, and at 50 yards couldn't hit the 3' by 3' backing. Took the red dot off, and I was in the black. Never used it again.

Might try it on a 22 rimfire.
 
You should be able to see the plugs on the top of the receiver if it is drilled. I just purchased the vortex nightforce for my SBEII, after alot of research. Had it for a week now and am very happy. 50 bucks cheeper than the burris.
You might want to check out the bushnell trophy. It was between those two for me. Never had A red dot so I didn't want to blow too much on something I didn't know that I would like.
