Do these folks still make rifle scopes ????? I have an old one that fogged up and needs repaired. I don't recall what kind of warranty they had being that this scope is probally 50 years old. Any info would be appreciated, thank you. Chuck..

The belvar line is now called the eilte. Bushnell did take over and the elite is the baush line up. I just traded for a 6-24x40AO belvar and it is one helll of a scope. I sure wish they were still in bussniess i would have a few more. I would say yours is well worth fixing.

I believe it is "Balvar"?
If it just needs cleaning they are pretty easy to work on yourself.
I have done some in recent years with no problems. They are easy to take apart and reassemble.

8ball....this gentleman may be able to point ya in the right direction though he only sell bases&mounts...http://www.hegibbs.com/prodinfo.htm
i had an oddball B&L ring assembly that he got excited about for my BALVAR 8
i'm guess'n you have the older non-internal elev/windage adj model.....
B&L was acquired by bushnell awhile back but the B&L name was still utilized....the top end B&L scopes were manuf'd by LOW (Light Optics Works)which has been Bushnell's policy since inception....they contracted various manuf's for diff levels of optics...when bushnell made the transition to the 4200 series is when the B&L name disappeared...not sure if LOW is producing the current line.
i have a 6-24 B&L Elite 4000 that is incredible to look thru...wish i had purchased another or 2
