Montana in March

A buddy of mine is in the Air force and is stationed near Great Falls Montana. He is coming home on leave and myself and another friend are going to drive back with him and stay for the rest of his leave near the end of March. I had the opportunity to travel to Montana last September and it was amazing. I'm not really sure what to expect weather-wise out there during that time of year. Also what is the prairie dog hunting like that time of year? I can't wait to go back and just see the beautiful country out there! thanks

Prairie dogs hibernate like our ground hogs do, don't they? The end of March might be too early in that neck of the woods for the little vermin to be out. By the way the ground hog seen his shadow today. Six more weeks of winter.

Well I shot a few prarie dogs last saturday! They will be out as long as its sunny. They love sunny days. It was only 15 degrees last saturday and I see them a lot in the winter so I dont think they hybernate the same way a bear would
