Anyone useing RL22 in their 25-06 loads? I just loaded some with Berger 115s using Berger data. Just wondering what or if anyone else is using it.

56gr of reloder 22 and a 100gr nosler is the load I use in all my 2506's. Im getting +3400fps with 26" barrels. I think 54gr of reloder 22 is about the area I use for the 115's. Work your way up these loads though.
For the 115's rel 25 is another great powder with magnum primers.

I've used it quite a bit over the years with 115g nbt's or 115g vld's. 1/2-3/4 MOA

53.5g w/115g nbt
50.5g w/115g vld

I use Retumbo now [beeep]. I get 3250fps w/115g nbt/vld at 57-57.5g and 1/2-3/4 MOA

RL-22 shoots very well with heavy bullets in my 25-06; three shots into 1/2" groups for several different bullets.
H-4831SC and 7828 deliver similar accuracy.
Many great bullets available in the 115 to 120 grain weight class.

I got some RL22 but havent tried it yet in the 25-06...been workin on 85gr NBT and RL19 right now...started to work some 115 gr NBT with 4831 but didnt get very far yet

Yup, 100-grain Ballistic Tips or 100-grain Nosler Partitions over 56.0 grains of RL-22. With WW cases and WLR primers, this load gives me almost 3,500 fps in my 25-inch barreled .25-'06.

Cases seemingly last forever and this is my go-to load for the rifle.

Elk, big deer, antelope ... it seems to matter not; the critters just die instantly to the 100-grainer in my .25-'06.

I know Remmy doesn't... but I use magnum primers with all my Retumbo loads in the 25-06... I find better SDs when using them vs. the standard LR primers.

I use the standard winchester long rifle or WLR. Didn't feel the need to try the magnum primer with the results I'm already getting. My ES is around 30, which is good enough for shooting out to 600 yards.

With 100g NBT's and 60.5g of Retumbo, I'm getting right at 3500fps and 1/2 MOA. That is a heckuva coyote/antelope load, pretty dang flat to! I prefer the 115g nbt at 3250fps though for deer and out to 600 yards, the added weight and BC is nice for deer and the longer shots.

I could never get 100g nbt's to shoot with RL-22 in any of my 25-06s, they did however take a liking to the 115g nbt. Killed a lot of stuff with that gun...

I also prefer the 115 to the 100s for deer... though I think the 115 Berger is the goods for that. Have shot a couple with the 115 NBT... all went down post haste. 3500 is diffinately not common for 100s in the 25-06... most I've seen have to be leaned on to make 3400. I've never had a problem getting any 25-06 to shoot well with the RE-22/100 NBT combo... infact, that's my go to load to see if a rifle is a "shooter" or not right off the bat.

Once again... funny how mileage can vary.

I never cared for the 115 or 120's. The 100's always did the job best for my deer hunting. When elk and buffalo hunting I usually prefered the 100gr partitions though.

Maybe Im just a Roy Weatherby beleiver, "speed kills" and Ive seen the effect of velocity.

reloder 22 @55.5 grains, 100 grain NBT out of my savage vlp 25-06 gets great groups.. Also it did great on my antelope at 275 yards this season
