I've always shipped my furs to NAFA and have done better than just selling to a fur buyer. You get what they can sell the fur for so you get higher prices. You'll pay a little on the handling and drumming of the furs at time of sale but still come out farther ahead.
As mentioned colorodo yotes sell in a poor market. I talked with a NAFA rep on the phone monday and he said the market will be slow and to hold onto the finished pelts till the March or May sale and they will bring better money then.
