Is anyone using a Panther Arms AR? They look like good rifles and I am wanting to get an AR. Are they good rifles or should I look at something else for around the same money?

Read good reviews on them - go for it. It's DPMS so you really can't go wrong there.

DPMS AP4 is a good choice but to use them at night with a scope you need to cut the front sight off them. The sight reflects the light back into the scope.

Or place some non-reflective tape on the front site. No need to cut then.
