CMMG bargin bin experiences

yeah....18'' would be good...
mid length gas... and gets the 1:8 twist......''perfection''

but thats just my opinion....

but that combo, your good for all bullet weights, [most of them] ....
gas , mid length, softer recoil pulse, less wear and tear on your weapon...

just things to think about.

Could tell you after I shoot my M4 [16"] tomorrow.

Saw a thread this morning on another forum of new owner and his M4 bargain bin was up to his expectations.

The difference between 16-18" is not a deal breaker for me, have owned and shot a CAR15 for years..and yeah, I can still hear. LOL.

There are really so many variables involved that it would be at best a guess. It could be acceptable or not. Accuracy between different barrels the same length and profile will vary between barrels. What's acceptable to you? Buying a used gun is a pig in a poke, you could get a fine shooter or not. If you buy a new gun a lot of the manufactures will gaurantee a certain MOA, some really good . A bargin bin rifle will be what you get.
