Anyone use any of these primers? I bought some, along with some CCI and Federal. The place I bought them from had more CCI and Federal but would only let you buy 1000 of each brand. I loaded some of the Magtech primers for my 257 Roberts and The loads are not hot at all. But the primers look like they are being pressed back out of the pocket. I quite shooting them the first day because the brass I was using was old. Figured that was it. But I loaded up some brand new Remington brass and the primers still look like they are pushing back out of the pocket. No other signs of pressure at all. I am thinking that it is just a difference in the Magtech primer? I loaded some of the same loads with the CCI primers this time too just to see what they look like.

Back down on the powder charge with the MagTech primers.
Don't shoot any more of those loaded rounds that are pushing primers back; unload them.

You are probably sizing the shoulder back too far.

I have had no problems with magtech primers with close to max loads in my .223s.
