Danner or Rocky ???

I'm just back from guiding my 4th elk hunt of the year and my Danner Pronghorns are still going strong. We had snow on this last hunt and I broke out a new pair of Rocky rubber bottom/leather topped boots....4 of the lace hooks broke while I was trying to put them on for the first time! They went to the dump and the Danner's finished strong. As for me, I'll take the Pronghorns... My second favorites are the Wolverine Antelope's, not nearly as tough but light weight and comfortable.

I have owned three pair of Danner Pronghorns and they have all been good boots. My only complaint was you couldn't get them resoled until I checked into how much it costs to resole boots and decided it was cheaper to buy a new pair. My only complaint is the soles need to be more aggressive. But I'm use to wearing Whites for fire with the heavy vibraim soles.
