I watched Predator Nation the other day and Fred Eichler had on film something I have seen happen four different times, that I can remember.
They were calling and had three coyotes that were not interested in the different sounds that Fred was playing. The three coyotes were heading away and were about 800 yards away when Fred switched to a coyote pup in distress sound. As soon as these three coyotes heard the pup in distress sound, they took off running straight for the FOXPRO. You just never know what sound is going to trip the coyotes trigger.
I get Predator Nation on DirecTV on Channels 605 "Sportsman Channel" and 608 "Pursuit Channel".

Les Johnson's Predator Quest is on the Sportsman Channel "DirecTV 605" and it is a great show to watch. Les and his brother also get some great calling footage.

Mojo Outdoors TV is on the Pusuit Channel "608 on DirecTV".
Terry Denmon has predator hunting on Mojo Outdoors quite a bit also. So it is also a good show to watch if you like watching predator hunting shows.

Yep. I'm hooked on Predator Nation. Fred Eichler is a joy to watch and resides just south of me in my home state of Colorado. Definately worth 30 minutes of your time.

Les just called me this morning and has really been hammering the coyotes hard lately. He just returned from Alberta and killed 44 coyotes in 4 days of calling. Killed 1 on day five but got rained out shortly after.

Good hunting.

I also watch Predator Nation and Les Johnson. Good shows. Predator Nation seems to show more helpful tips and less advertisements.

I get all 3 outdoor channels and I haven't seen Predator Quest listed for a month or more.I used to watch Les on late night Sunday but it has been a while since I've seen it listed. The thing I find irritating with Predator Nation is the 17 year old with his first naked woman he can touch act after every shot.

i feel anytime you see two or three coyotes there is a vary high probability of them responding to a pup in distress.
I'm not surprised they responded in a territorial response when they wouldn't to a dinner bell

I love to watch Predator Nation. I seen Fred on another show as a guest and they said that his wife is the owner of Muzzy broadheads. Thought that was kinda interesting.

I love Predator Nation and Predator Quest. I love Tevo even more. If it wasen't for that I would never get to see them. I have had that happen. I saw a yote about 200 yards away crossing over a feild. He was trotting and ingoring my rabit diss. I switched to the coyote pup diss. and he did turn and head my way.
He got about 70 yards away and went into some brush. Then the batteries in my fx3 went dead. He trotted off and I wasen't able to get a shot. That caller is great but man it eats batteries.

Amen to that. I have a TV, but it's only hooked up to DVD. No cable, no satellite, no antenna. I'm picky about what comes into the house.

Q,

Its insane here in Alberta. We need more help control these canines! Once I get out of this blasted city, I'll bag 44 of my own in 4 days!

Aye, especially with children about eh. I don't believe in Cable. Just strict internet filtering.

Would it be worth emailing the Sportsman channel about this? Maybe start up a petition?
