Well It's that time of the year again and I cannot get my scope to keep from fogging up on me. All the optic cleaning solutions I have tried all say they are fog preventive, yeah right!

What does everyone else do?

Spit on your scope and wipe it with a lens cloth.
I tried using stuff called "cat crap" and I wasn't impressed.

Try a light coating of Colgate (not Crest, etc.) toothpaste.... Just enough to put a light coating on and immediately wipe it off...No hard rubbing, and use clean section of the cloth/lens wipe for each time you are removing it...Works on glasses, etc..

Joy dish washing liquid. Mix some in the sink and before you do the dishes put a little on the lens and with your finger rub it around real good. Use a lens tissue to remove the liquid and dry the lens. DON'T touch, blow on, or wipe the lens. This is the way aircraft instruments' glass is cleaned and defogged. Sounds too simple, doesn't?

A dab of shaving cream works well for me.

Thanks I'll try joy on my El Cheapo Barska pocket binos. They are pretty much useless when it gets cold or damp (Thats Nov-May here) I'd be careful with the Colgate, as toothpaste is an abrasive.

Another thing that didnt work for me was 2010 Fog Gone. (I don't mean to dis the product, but it didnt work for me)
