I've seen two or three from the road this past week. No pattern to it, cold and rainy they're out, beautiful and sunny they're not. Only pattern I've noticed so far is that it is always near roads and always when I don't have a rifle in order to break the law. NOT---LOL--I'd never do that.

The last one I saw out was on the 17th. Just a fluke ,he was by the side of the road. I had given up.I usually see them a lot later then I did this year. We had a nice Indian summer in central Oh.Lots of sun moderate temp, great conditions but no hogs. I drove hundreds of miles and glassed a lot of good land and saw nothing in normally productive spots. From last part of Oct on it was like they dissapeared I saw very few after the beans came off. Maybe they read the farmers almanac and it told them to go to bed.
