Question about Luepold AO on VX-II

I have a leupold vx-II 6X18 that the ao has a little play on it. I mean it will move back and forth just a wee little bit. Any of you guys out there that have vx-II I would like you to weight in and is this normal play or does it need to go back to luepold? I bought the scope used so would luepold still warranty it?

Sideways or back and forth, back and forth meaning lenthwise.
If it's back and forth, I have a few that do that also and was told to not worry about it by the head honchos.

It does bug a guy don't it ? lol

Leupold's warranty on gold ring products is for the life of the scope, regardless of owner.

Wyoming Drifter back and forth meaning lengthwise. probably less than a 1/32" of movement,it sure does bug me.

The backlash won't effect use of the scope.
